Teaching of Welsh

As a school we are committed to the teaching of Welsh and all efforts are made to establish Welsh as a second, functional language in the life of the school. We aim to give the children every opportunity to make the learning of Welsh an exciting, interesting and relevant experience.

We endeavour to include Welsh in as many school activities as possible and incidental Welsh is used throughout the day when appropriate.

The Welsh Advisory Teacher visits the school regularly. These visits may be as often as once a week, if a specific aspect of the Welsh curriculum is to be developed.
