Road Safety

Although the school is not situated on a main road, parking outside the main school gates is illegal during specific times as specified on the notice. To overcome this problem, the L.E.A. at great expense built a lay-by on the Maes Isaf Road entrance (by the Nant Parc shops) along with access through the new houses. We would very much appreciate if you would park in this lay-by and not Melyd Avenue. It is important that parents do not use the school car park as either a turning point or parking facility. This is for staff only. The disabled parking spaces are for the taxis and mini-buses that transport our resourced provision pupils and not for parents or grandparents who have disabled stickers. Safety outside the school gates is the responsibility of parents/guardians at all times.
