Mrs
Brown retires after 31 years

Mrs Elizabeth Brown joined the teaching staff at Johnstown
Infant school in 1977.
Since that time Mrs Brown has directly taught over 1000 children.
She will be greatly missed by the staff and pupils and on
behalf of the school Headteacher Mrs Sandra Jones would like
to thank her for hard work and long service to the school.

Sports Day
This years sports day will be held on Tuesday 8th July 2008 (weather
permitting)
Nursery
and Reception 10.00am
Years 1 and 2 1.30 pm
The HAS
will provide tea and coffee/refreshments during the sports day.
Year
2 Leavers Service
This years leavers service will be held in the School Hall on Friday
18th July at 10.00 am. Please make sure that the children are wearing
school uniform. Unfortunately, due to lack of space, we will not
be able to accommodate children and babies.
Prom
Night
This year's fancy dress prom night will be held on Thursday 15th
July 2008.
The theme
for the evening will be 'In the Movies'.
Tickets cost £1 (refreshments included)
Nursery and Reception 5.00pm to 6.00pm
Years 1 and 2 6.15pm to 7.30pm
Jamboree
Years 1 and 2 will be attending the
Jamboree in Plas Madoc on Thursday 3rd July.
